The Cycle

Thunder rolling through a dark night:
An upcoming storm of chaos.
Crawling slowly, covering the clear sky,
Darkening this world of brightness and light;
A land once full of life and hope –
Now deprived of its vigour.
Sunbeams permeate these clouds of stone.
A new era will begin.
Awake
Wasting your time until the end
Wasting your time
Realise that you are wasting
This world has fallen apart
The tempest, aspiring its aim,
Annihilates everything on its way.
“No prayers will help, no god will be here –
A dark force exalts this fear.”
Losing everything ever achieved –
A detergent thunderstorm announces a new beginning.
Awake
Wasting your time until the end
Wasting your time
Realise that you are wasting
This world has fallen apart
Awake
Wasting your time until the end
Wasting your time
Now it`s time to recreate
A better place only to die again

The Decline

Breathe.
Breathe out
Life.
Breathe out.
“It’s never going to be the same.
I don’t recognize their faces anymore.”
The mirror casts back the portrait of a storm.
“It’s never going to be the same.”
Breathe.
Go.
Let go
Of everything.
“Being
Human
Just means
Being
A name.”
He is not the same anymore.
He hasn’t been seen in weeks.
The loving father and husband is gone.
His world has fallen apart.
“What am I supposed to find here?
Weightless souls around…
I have to let go.”
He is not the same anymore,
Spends hours staring through windows.
His reflection is faceless.
“My death has begun when I was born.”
Names and names are flowing by - drowning in the sky.
No matter how desperately we’ll try - we’ll be unidentified.
Names and names are flowing by - drowning in the sky.
No matter how desperately we’ll try - we’ll be unidentified.
Hark!
Death is
Calling.
“Lay thee into my arms.”
The voices in his head are becoming masters.
The choir of his psyche is leading him.
